Return out of the Dark Ages; The Crazy Schedule.

Well, I have finally figured out how to add new posts to this blog. So I can finally declare that the Watson Home Crew has come out of the Dark Ages of not blogging. Sure no one will probably follow the blog, but at least it gives me something to do. People always ask me how I am enjoying high school. Well, it is going okay, but I guess I explain myself, and go a little bit undercover. I guess we will start with the schedule. Dad will come wake me up somewhere around 6:30 and 6:40. So I have about twenty-five minutes to get ready before my ride shows up for Jazz Band at 7:30. Then we start the regular school days. Which sometimes it is extremely hard to not fall asleep. So after the wonderful day of school I head out to the tennis courts where I practice for about two hours. I'm not going to lie that is a blast. After tennis practice it is finally time to head home. Somedays I walk in the door, and the thought pops into my mind "Where is the ice cream?!?!?!" After that I sometimes go lay on the couch, but I try and avoid that because if I do; I know I won't get back up. So I usually go do homework, and some evening activity. Those can range from the shed, trumpet or piano lessons, and young mens. Then I hit the sack and get ready for the next day. For about the past month my Saturdays have been booked. I have been working all day, State Drama, State Concert Band, National Jamboree Meetins etc. So you can guess what I do after church on Sunday. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.................ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. I catch up on some sleep. Well, I'll try and blog more often, this is the Watson Home Crew blogger Brent.

Things I have learned from having a Job

1. Choose to have a job closer to home so that you don't have to stay at someone's house for the week, and so you can save money rather that spending it on gas.
2. When filling out an application don't forget to sign down at the bottom where it says it certifies all information is correct or you feel stupid later.
3.When filling out the application make sure you mark which shift you want and don't mark any shifts you don't want, or you otherwise get that shift and have a problem when your friends have the other shift and you need to carpool with them.
4. When answering the job acceptance call be fully awake or at least have a pen and pencil at your side so you don't forget later.
5. When showing up to do further paperwork bring at least 2 ID verifications or be stuck going back later the next day.
6. When filling out paperwork know how to fill out a W2
7. Don't be at the wrong building the first day of the job or be lost and late for work what an impression that makes
8. Don't switch  from night shift to morning shift on your employers or all chaos will break loose: [A] Won't receive punch card because your supposed to be in the other pile of cards.Which will cause you not to check in the first day which will later come out as they won't pay you the first day because they didn't look on the list you did sign in on the first day.[B] They can't find your paycheck for 2 days because it's somewhere else.
9. On the first training day don't expect to only work a couple of hours because their going to run you through like a normal day would be like.
10. On the third day don't forget your punch card because you loose five bucks and loose your pride of responsibility
11. Don't expect to go out to eat for lunch because there is no time.
12. Don't expect to be able to use your ipod or read your book because they want you to feel totally bored out of your mind.
13. Don't expect to want to eat cherries after you seen what you didn't mean to let pass such as pits and stems and who knows what else.Or the fact of what you pull out like little bugs and a grasshopper. Plus the fact that 5 pounds of sugar that goes into 4 gallon buckets.

Graduation Pictures

And you thought you had a mess to clean up

One day Mom, Dad and I (Danielle) were sitting in the computer room looking at something, then we suddenly all heard CRASH BOOM SHATTER RATTLE BREAK BASH CRASH! Everyone is like what is going on?!?!? Please view the video below for explanation (note turn your head to the right, oops) :

And you thought you had a mess to clean up. The following of what you saw is are storage room or what we call are "backroom". The shelves were as old as the house so after awhile they don't hold together. What really happened is the nails gave way and the shelves just bent foward with all the weight it had to hold and everything came crashing down. YAY us! WE get to clean.

The funny this was though my mom was already doing deep cleaning in the other storage room and now had to both. Just a note too I cleaned most of it! But the remarkable thing that happened is that the molasses didn't break or the huge jar of honey which were on the top shelf and thank goodness they didn't or it' really would have been a BIG mess. Unfortunately not all the glass things held together. The tumble broke a pottery pan and some glass cups.

After about a week or two about igonoring the whole thing and the backroom needing a paint job mom gets to work and paints the backroom and built shelves.

Danielle's Crazy life

YAY I SURVIVED FINALS!!! So Last week I was doing photography finals staying everyday from after school until midnight almost sometimes even tell 1 o'clock in the morning. I had to print and print and print and take photos and reprint after reprint until it was finally was the way I wanted it and then I had to mat the 10 photos. So basically mom dad and Brent haven't seen me around much and the people down at Snow practically knew me as family. A girl, Kim said that I practically lived in the dark room and she was right lol. We had put up the Christmas tree that past Sunday and I hadn't seen the Christmas tree lights on once that week. Because it would turn on after I left and turn off with the timer before I got home. But I finally walked in and saw it on Friday night at like 9:00 which by the way was nice and the earliest I had been home all week. The night of Finals I had to miss school because I had to mat like crazy and I had baptisms for the dead at 4:00 so I wouldn't have any time after school to mat. So I missed school and it was totally worth it. And then I rushed home and had Tauni help me write my artist statement and then rushed to the church to meet the young women and then at the temple I was worrying if I would make it on time to my photo showing because my teacher said no matter what don't miss this even if your in the hospital. So my temple experience wasn't as good as it should have been but it was still great! And then I rushed to Ephraim to the humanities building and matted my artist statement which by the way I sort of wrinkled in the car and changed out of my dress and set up my stuff. And I was stressed until everything was perfect and then mom and dad showed up and they looked around and said it was great and took pictures of which you are now viewing. But will see all of them later for a better look lol.
Also today I had to get up early on a Saturday morning and go take the ACT test Blah! It went ok I guess but I should have paced myself faster and then tonight I have to be an escort for one of the preferred man at the preference dance. So that means I have to curl my hair and what not. And get ready for Steven and Becky to come home YAY! I’m excited! Which Steven by the way just called and said he is defiantly coming. I love when people come home lol even though you guys eat all the food and have me babysit and take my bed for Christmas and make me clean like crazy so you can come home I LOVE you guys! See you at home!
Ya ya you probably all think that my life isn't as crazy as yours -Watson Blogger (Danielle)

Ward Christmas Party

I have always wondered when we as a church would have the classic play of Christ being born. This year happened to be the year. It started off as the activities Pres announced that we had to dress up like the old times when Christ was born for the ward party. I was excited! We also had to bring a tax, which was a can of food and if you didn't you were in trouble. Dad wasn't at church because he's part of the High Council down at Snow. But when Mom told him when he got home that Sunday, that we had to dress up for the ward Christmas party you should have seen his face! lol. It was like we have to do what for the Ward party?.... And later he was voluntold (meaning told to volunteer not asked lol) to be one of the wise men, Brent to be a Shepard, and myself to be an angel.
Mom and I one night had fun dressing up as we were trying to figure out what to wear and what dad could wear. We mixed and match and finally came up with something. Mom with her amazing sewing skills made and Awesome costume for dad. He defiantly looked rich and wise as a wise man should be. So I hope you enjoy the great Watson Classic because I don't think you will ever see Dad in a costume again lol. And noticed I'm not in the picture lol. All I looked like was me hair straight in moms temple dress.
And this doesn't having to do with the Ward Christmas party but Brent wanted you guys to know that he went into moms room and went down the cupboard hole in moms room to get the stuff that fell behind in the taller than Brent hole. I tried that once but I couldn’t get the stuff. Believe me that is ONE scary hole 1) because it’s taller than yourself 2) there’s probably lots of spiders 3) you might not be able to get out. When Tamra lured me down with the rope all I could imagine was me getting stuck not being able to breath and having to call the Fireman to come get me out. But Brent didn’t Fear he was down that hole got the stuff out and was out in no time! Nice job Brent!

Happy Thanksgiving!

1. (Defrosting) 2. (Cooking and Smelling good) 3. (Mmmmm.....Turkey!)

I’m not the best with words so not only do I want to talk about Thanksgiving. I wanted to show you how our Thanksgiving went. Since we all can’t be together for thanksgiving. I hope you all had an enjoyable Thanksgiving and didn’t forget to have gratitude for what we all have and the many blessings we have received this past year. We had a great Thanksgiving but it would have been the best if we could have all been together.
Today Tamra, Mom, and I watched Little House on the Prairie. They just happened to have an all day marathon consisting of Laura falling in love with Almanzo. That’s how we past the time waiting for the turkey to finally come out because the fact that it takes like 2hrs just to cook it. And it was just to relax for the day. We were in a middle of an episode when Brent came down begging for us to come up to finally eat the food. But we ignored him for a while because it was an exciting part. But we soon went up because we were all starving and Brent was begging for food.
(Dad did his yearly cutting the turkey)

and then we finally all ate and the food was GREAT! I love thanksgiving especially the turkey. Not only was the food and turkey good but the Pie! Mmmm….pumpkin pie was real good and Brent liked the fact that he didn’t have to fight Brian off for the pie!

(Mmmmm...pumpkin Pie) ( HEY! who ate all the pumpkin PIE!)

lol(no offense Brian). But most of all I liked that I was eating dinner with my family and having a great time. Everybody sharing the Watson classics and me taking pictures to now to show to you. I hope you all had an enjoyable Thanksgiving! Love you all!
